About Ohio Home Inspection

We have completed many different types of inspections. Please see the section titled "What's Inspected" or ask if there is any question as to what is or is not inspected. We will notify the client of any item that is noted. We provide quality digital color photos with every inspection. You will understand every item by the time we are finished.

From the first contact with us through the inspection delivery and explanation of your report, you will experience the ultimate in professionalism. We encourage questions even if its about a report done by another inspector.

Effective late in 2019, a home inspector is required to be licensed by the state of Ohio and also required to maintain General Liability Insurance. My Ohio home inspector license (OHI.2019005679) is valid unil 11/22/2025 and my General Liability and Errors & Omissions (E&O) Insurance is valid and renewed from year to year.   Be careful who you decide to perform your inspection and ask the right questions before you hire them.

My Qualifications

I started building homes at the young age of 14 in 1975 and have built many homes since. I also have several years of commercial construction experience. I've completed training in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning receiving a Universal EPA Certification among other certifications. I am licensed with the State of Ohio to perform Pest Inspections for Wood Destroying Organisms (WDO) such as Termites, certain Beetles, Carpenter Ants, and Carpenter Bees. I'm also certified to do Thermal Imaging and energy reports.

I've also worked in the mortgage industry as a loan officer and manager; and in the banking industry. The only thing that I haven't done in the construction and real estate industry is that of an appraiser and real estate agent.
